Animation Physics Study

Scope
Practice portraying the physicality of objects in motion through exaggeration and the use of animation principles such as anticipation, squash and stretch, or easing in and out.
Approach
As an introduction to frame-by-frame animation, I practiced the technique of in-betweening with the animation of the character; I also wanted to explore more spontaneous animation through rendering the green flames.

Scope
Explore time in relation to visual storytelling by using at least 24 unique frames to demonstrate animation principles.
Approach
My piece enhances a surreal, absurd story by using a saturated, technicolor-like palette when entering the dream world.

Scope
Use at least 24 unique frames demonstrating animation principles to depict a transformation, scene, loop, or character acting.
Approach
To develop the diegetic world and the character story, I used environmental storytelling, ensuring background elements contribute information to the scene.
