Who?
Hello! I'm Pearl, a graphic designer based in Columbus, Ohio.
I currently handle production art at 500 Degrees Studio, with a focus on motion graphics. Other areas of focus include illustration, with a degree specialization in studio art, and visual identity design, with 7+ case studies of applied brand systems.
My 2 years of professional experience primarily comprise in-house design for the Office of Global Opportunities at Ohio University, where I designed their new logo and created the social media graphics and templates needed for a new launch. I also served production design needs at NEXT Advertising Agency, where I designed print and digital assets for 7 local and national businesses. For my university capstone project, I contributed during the early stages of UX research and UI design for the School of Visual Communication's new website.
From my degree in Visual Communication: Multimedia Design, I have additional experience in publication design, information graphics, photography, video capture and editing, and motion graphics. My work is influenced by global experiences, as I've traveled independently to Germany as an exchange student and to Costa Rica and Ecuador, where I learned Spanish.
