Educational Motion Story: "Cycles"
Challenge
Create a motion graphic that teaches something or communicates information, using animated infographics or anything else you can dream up.
Approach
My goal was to educate audiences on the lesser-known phases of the menstrual cycle beyond just menstruation. I share objective information with graphs and diagrams, while handmade illustrations and cosmic storytelling make this knowledge experiential and memorable.

Narrative Motion Story: "Flat Friend"
Challenge
As an open-ended introduction to After Effects, recreate an animation you like or create any motion graphics piece.
Approach
My central aim was to incorporate character illustration with After Effects. My process included storyboarding, writing a shot list, shooting film, color grading, sound effects including original music, and sequencing digital illustrations. The story has a somber, deadpan tone and ambiguous ending.
