Office of Global Opportunities
As Ohio University's department of study abroad, the Office of Global Opportunities (OGO) coordinates with program directors to offer students diverse opportunities and provides comprehensive advising services during the study abroad process.
Description
As in-house graphic designer for OGO, my role partly entailed creating materials inspiring students to study abroad and directing them to relevant events or touchpoints. The materials had to remain accessible for a diverse student body and pair well when adjacent to Ohio University's brand style.
I also initiated an end-to-end logo redesign for the office. This led into a full office rebrand, which I then implemented across print and digital.
Scope: Brand development, environmental signage, print fliers, digital displays, sticker merchandise, page formatting, email design, presentation deck design
Roles: I worked cross-functionally with the global program coordinator, who wrote copy. Aside from brand guideline specification, I had control over all art direction and production.
Brand Standards & Graphics
I worked in a team to create OGO's first-ever brand identity. Our brand manager provided the color palette and typography, while I provided tweaks for accessibility as well as brand assets including logo patterns and dozens of trail line graphics.
