SUMMARY
Each year, the Office of Global Opportunities hosts the Global Opportunities Fair at Ohio University. I created the theme for the 2025 Global Opportunities Fair and adapted it to all materials used to promote the fair.
PROCESS
The theme features stylized vector illustrations of cultural monuments to communicate the concept of “globalism” without using clichés. The strong colors and simple style appeal to the modern student while still implementing hand-crafted and geometrical elements that reflect and celebrate the handicrafts of the world.
I presented three moodboards to the client, who chose a combination of the following two. They liked that the theme differed from previous years, but they wanted to make sure the information remained clear and accessible.
I made several iterations of the main 24x36 poster, collaborating with the client and their needs. This was the final outcome.
The client wanted a digital display that closely resembled the large-print poster.
The office also uses smaller quarter-sheets to hand out during advising sessions.
